Abstract :
For optimizing the operations of coal dispatch systems in a coal power plant, this research is to develop a real-time coal dispatch scheme on the basis of the priorities assigned to the coal hoppers of the dispatching system. A new coal danger index is provided. This scheme shows advantages for the operations of a dispatching system with multiple-hoppers, in terms of expanding equipment life, reducing work load of the workers and increasing operation efficiency under the condition of safety assurance for the power generation operations.
