  • Abstract
    A high resolution multi-beam sonar using Complex Fast Fourier Transform (CFFT) algorithm has been developed. Since the sonar can measure a seabed configuration at real time and display it graphically in a three-dimensional way, it is applicable of detecting obstructions and surveying the seabed configuration. This paper describes the sonar system and its applications.
