Abstract
The analysis of microstrip patch antennas is developed, in the Fourier domain, by using the Hertz vector potentials and Galerkin method. The microstrip patch antenna substrate is composed by several isotropic and anisotropic layers. The effect produced by anisotropic dielectric overlays is also investigated. Curves are shown for the input impedance as function of the geometry of the structure considered.
