Describes K-band image rejection mixer/preamplifiers constructed using waveguide integrated package (WIP) techniques. Noise figures of 10 dB and conversion gains of 20 dB have been achieved over 10% bandwidth at K-band. A mixer centred at 29 GHz for communication applications is fully detailed
