Abstract

This paper introduces the structural model and the operating principle of B/S model together with the notion of system concept and the architecture of ERP (enterprise resource planning). According to the requirements of the household textile industry, the function design of the ERP system is presented. During the research and development process, analysis are given to the specific realizing technology of the system, the implementation procedures of ERP and the principles to follow in project implementations, respectively. As to an order-oriented manufacturing enterprise, ERP is proved to be the best choice for supporting the operation and management of it.
