Abstract
To Aim at the random, time-variant or uncertain network delays in the wireless networked control systems (WNCS), a novel Smith predictor is proposed. This new Smith predictor hides predictor models of the network delays into real network data transmission processes, therefore network delays donpsilat need to be measured, identified or estimated on-line. At the same time, this new Smith predictor doesnpsilat include the prediction model of the controlled plant, thus it doesnpsilat need to know the exact mathematical model of the controlled plant beforehand. Based on IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee), the results of the simulation show validity of the compensation scheme.
