Abstract :
This paper is dedicated to the important problem of digital FIR filters with linear phase and discrete coefficients design. The proposed algorithm provide an optimal solution. In order to reduce algorithm complexity, an localization using a sequential reduction of admissible values space is conducted. The adopted approach is illustrated by a simple example. The obtained results have been very promising. A comparative study with an example taken from the literature illustrates the proposed algorithm efficiency.
