  • Abstract
In this paper, the authors report on the first study of the capabilities offered by the vectorial holography in the frame of the optical trapping and manipulation. Emulsions of liquid crystals in water have been investigated due to the possibility to produce optically anisotropic spherical particles in a simple way. Unconventional trapping and manipulation strategies have been observed in dynamical regimes.
