Abstract :
Rigorous solutions for the modal fields for waveguides with plain corrugations and with corner filled corrugations are developed. In addition, a comparative analysis of the two types of corrugated waveguides is presented. The proposed technique is applied to the determination of the dispersion diagrams for rectangular corrugated waveguides with plain and corner filled corrugations. Numerical results are presented.<>
