Abstract
The author presents a simple and efficient algorithm for calculating the steady-state response of strongly nonlinear autonomous circuits. The problem is reduced to the solution of an approximating system of nonlinear equations which enables the approximate solution to be directly calculated in the time domain. The numerical procedure is much simpler than those obtained by using either the shooting method or the frequency-domain methods. To demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed algorithm, results are presented for a typical oscillator circuit
