  • Abstract
    The modified equivalent current method for the calculation of backscattering cross sections based on extending the strip model method was proposed previously, and its usefulness was demonstrated for the rectangular cylinder, triangular cylinder, and hexahedron. In the present work, this method is extended to the calculation of bistatic radar cross sections. Calculated results are compared with experimental results and good agreement is obtained for a rectangular cylinder and a triangular cylinder.<>
