Abstract
A solution is developed for computing the transmission characteristics of a round hole in an infinitely perfectly conducting slab between two media. An electric dipole placed along the axis of the round hole is used as the excitation source. The quantities computed using the moment method are the equivalent magnetic currents, the transmission coefficient, and the transmitted field.<>
