  • Abstract
An automatic testing configuration is suggested for the analogue-and-digital mixed system using PCs and CAMAC interfaces which are remotely controlled by the IEEE488 bus. The efficiency of this equipment is tested with the design verification of an adaptive line equalizer. The testing and verification of the analogue-and-digital mixed system is of particular importance in VLSI technology. ISDN and related applications are good examples for such mixed integration and new testing requirements. It is concluded that with integration of complex functions in a device or a system, the automation of the design verification and hardware testing, using the mixed special environment, is increasingly important
