Abstract :
Summary form only given. We demonstrated coherent optical frequency domain reflectometry (C-OFDR) for a long optical fiber transmission line. We simulated the measurement of a reflection at a one-way distance of >1000 km, and achieved a spatial resolution of about 130 m.
