Abstract
A simple method for determining the phase center of any radiating system is described. In addition, the effects of different types of random and accidental errors on the phase center of such structures are discussed. The described procedure is applied to a linear array of 20 identical elements uniformally spaced by a distance d=0.5 lambda /sub 0/. As a numerical example, the effect of a failed element position on the phase center movement is studied.<>
