Abstract
Consideration is given to one-dimensional and two-dimensional discrete Hartley transforms as similarity transforms. The structure of the matrix is presented which could be diagonalized by the above transform. In particular it is demonstrated that the Hartley transform can diagonalize structured matrices richer than circulant matrices
