Abstract :
This paper present an model based on system approach for determining aircraft spare parts stock level in a multi-item, multi-echelon inventory system. It´s a difficult problem for airline companies to determine how to increase the airplane´s availability by the use of minimum spare cost. To solve this problem, the relationship of availability and backorder is proved, and optimal model based on marginal cost are put forward, spares optimal software is used to optimize spares allocation.
