Abstract :
Simplified forms of maximum a posteriori (MAP) synchronizers are developed for the DPSK (differential phase shift keying) scheme. It is shown these circuits are simple enough to be realized only with digital ICs. The MAP estimator and a closed loop MAP synchronizer are outlined. A simplified MAP synchronizer is presented
