Abstract :
A theoretical analysis of the addition of a matching zone to an open parallel-plate waveguide in order to reduce reflection is presented. Results of an open parallel-plate waveguide with a trapezoidal matching zone are presented, and it is found that a suitable matching zone can significantly reduce the reflection.<>
