Abstract
The technique of bandlimited basis functions is considered for the case of scattering from two-dimensional structures in TM polarization. While focusing primarily on outgoing-wave basis sets, other applications, such as the boundary matched basis and the nonreflecting boundary are described. Scattering from an elliptical conducting cylinder with radiation incident at 90 degrees to the major axis is considered as an example.<>
