Abstract
Power efficiency is important for battery powered devices such as mobile phones and wireless sensor nodes. The power management strategies of Android and TinyOS are analyzed as they are popular OS of these fields respectively. A experiment is set up to compare the power performance of them. The results show that TinyOS outperformed Android in power efficiency.
