Abstract :
Spherical near-field scanning is an exiting method to, among others, determine the power and direction of extraneous sources in the Quiet Zone. However as this paper will show, it is also possible to make qualitative investigation of the shape of the illuminating source. Furthermore different Quiet Zone characteristics, such as amplitude taper or phase taper or ripple due to extraneous source can be distinguished.
