Abstract
The 20th century witnessed an intensification with no precedents of the use of the mathematics and the increase of the scales and the reach of the human beings activities. Until the decade of 1970, however, this increase of scale and reach had been obtained with some sacrifice of flexibility of processes and products. The work organization when adopting and trying to take to its limit the principle of the separation between conception work and the execution fortified a rigidity that revealed incapable to compete with the organizations that they look to delegate decisions throughout the hierarchic chain of the productive system. Furthermore, they did not promote the radical detachment instituted by the tradition. In the last few decades the TIC (technologies of information and communication) have contributed so that this rigidity of the processes and the products were surpassed in some points.
