Abstract
Immune network theory proposed by Jerne indicates that the immune system, even in the absence of foreign stimuli, must display an eigen-behavior resulting from cell-cell interactions within the immune system. In this paper, we propose a novel cell-interaction model, in which antibody at idiotypic level i interacts with cells at constant levels alpha1 (index of stimulation cell) and alphaN (index of inhibition cell). Simulations on pattern recognition are performed to evaluate the proposed artificial immune model´s performance.
