Telecommunications-policy issues

Policy, equipment manufacture, service delivery and regulation are the four constituents of telecommunication services, and how and by whom these should be addressed/delivered is being inquired into by country after country, leading to the de-governmentalization, corporatization and introduction of competition in several countries. A discussion is presented of the four elements of telecommunications services, matching new services to new markets and, rewriting existing telecommunication laws
