  • Abstract
    Distance education is the most important part of modern education ideas, and the experiment manipulation technique is the key factor which reflects the more perfect of distance education mode. In this paper, multi-tier distributed virtual laboratory system based on CORBA/JAVA is given. an overview on the virtual laboratory based on distributed measurement and control system is given. The fundamental aspects concerning both the hardware and software to design the distributed virtual laboratory are examined. Emphasis is devoted to innovative criteria and the requirements arising from the increasing application of the virtual laboratory in e-learning.
