Abstract
Results of an analysis of the propagation and radiation characteristics of elliptical dielcore (dielectric core) horns are presented. It is shown that the aperture electric field is nearly straight for each fundamental hybrid mode. The radiation patterns of this structure possess extremely low values of cross-polarization over wide bandwidths.<>
