Title :
Software development and management for C-DOT DSS
Author :
Gupta, P.K. ; Dixit, A.G.
Abstract :
A MAX digital switch (512 ports and beyond) has been designed, developed and placed in the field within a span of four years. After overcoming the teething troubles the system is working in the field satisfactorily. The switch is designed for multiple applications and incremental growth. The software has been developed using state-of-the-art techniques and fully exploits the hardware redundancy. Coverage is given to two major facets of the large software projects for a family of digital switching systems (DSS), i.e., the software architecture and the management
