  • Abstract
    The distributed, asynchronous nature of self-healing network (SHN) protocols generally renders them intractable to evaluation by analytical methods. Consequently, simulation techniques must be adopted. The authors describe TENDRA (Tool for Evaluation of Network Distributed Restoration Algorithms), a research tool developed to investigate the potential for SHN techniques within the future BT transport network
