Abstract :
The common operating problems that are inherent in longitudinal power supply systems are classified. The main areas of this study are loadability, frequency dynamics, transient stability, power line oscillations, voltage control and stability problems. Typical longitudinal systems have been simulated to investigate these inherent problems
