  • Abstract
    In a number of applications in ionising radiation dosimetry, new technologies can be of considerable benefit. This work describes a new type of direct-reading semiconductor dosimeter which has been studied in laboratories for a number of years but has hitherto not been used in large numbers in the field. The examples of applications described serves to show how this new technology has left the laboratory and is quickly gaining acceptance in the field
