Fast dynamic response rectifier with low input distortion

The authors describe a step-down rectifier for the provision of a stable and well regulated DC bus to supply the high-power, low-distortion amplifiers used in vibration test equipment. The voltage required is below the peak of the line-voltage of the three-phase supply.
