Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The paper is an attempt to discuss the significance of Data Structures Course and raise the difficult points and relevant issues of the course and introduce group cooperation model in teaching the course with the objective to improve the teaching quality of the course and with the conclusion that group cooperation model can stimulate students´ interest in the course and enhance the teaching effects through teaching practice.
