Abstract :
An interactive Real-Time Electromagnetic Field Analysis System was developed and implemented in the Energy Conversion Laboratory. The Analysis portion of the system uses finite-elements to create an analysis and performance evaluation model of the machines being tested. This analysis is properly supported by hardware and software development will provide to the student with a broader understanding of the process that takes place inside an electrical machine. This project was adapted, as an enhancement, to an existing energy conversion laboratory. Using this systems the student is able to view internal interactions of the machine while hands-on experimentations are in progress.
