Abstract

The present work shows the details of a real time simulator with typical operations of hydrocarbon processing, namely, separation, compression, pumping and sweetened process of hydrocarbons. It was developed for a specific real offshore platform in operation and its accuracy was validated with design and operation data. The primary target of this work was to develop generic models for real time simulation of hydrocarbon processing facilities, specifically for the training of operators in the oil industry.
