Abstract :
As part of the renewal of the trial support equipment the DGA (French Ministry of Defense) has decided to build a new ship for measurement and testing. This ship is designed to track long and medium range missiles, and can compute their trajectory to very high accuracy during test programmes. To ensure straightforward data correlation, the global entity of tracking and measurement equipment is synchronized both ashore and on the ship. Due to the high cost of such launch experiments, the complete time and frequency system seeks to maintain a very low failure rate during the whole offshore mission and specially during the flight test
