Abstract :
Collaborative Supply Chain management has become a potential strategy in competitiveness business units. After Thailand and China agreed on the ASEAN framework under Free Trade Agreement (FTA) since 2003, the FTA program has been applicable on agricultural produce since then. Objectives of the research are to investigate the impact of FTA on long an export by applying the collaborative supply chain (CSC) and evaluating the performance. Above five hundred questionnaires developed by Q-sort technique, have been intensively used in order to collect data from agriculture network including grower, consolidator and exporter. Cohen´s Kappa coefficients result of 61% and 72% in the first and second round respectively, indicate that this high percentage results are validate for all dimensions and can be used in large-scale survey. Moreover, the reliability test by Cronbach´s Alpha of overall factors is 0.82 showing that the internal consistency of the items for all dimension is high. In addition, we have developed a framework for measuring effective factors of collaborative supply chain and supply chain performance. The study areas are long an orchard in northern and eastern areas of Thailand. As a significant result, this paper shows supply chain performance and collaborative supply chain of long an grower are average meaning that the competency of long an grower is not powerful enough. Nevertheless, the results from regression analysis confirm the relationship of factors in four models. They can stimulate more interests both at international business level and agriculture business level.
