Abstract
The paper presents a multi-sensor wireless intelligent transportation system in reduced scale as a platform for advanced technology integration, dependability and reliability analysis, real time monitoring... Following the design and specification stages, based on functional analysis, a multi-sensor system is proposed and a redundancy introduced on purpose for safety reasons. Besides, a central control system is developed and a supervisor introduced as a friendly tool for wireless monitoring via a Bluetooth communication network. Finally, different routing scenarios are proposed and managed via a smart HMI and control strategies tested thanks to fuzzy controllers.
