Abstract :
This paper has focused its attention on double-cross intersection traffic control and its simulation with TSIS6.0. There are two vehicle sensors on each lane of the road, which are used to count the numbers of the waiting cars and then put them into the fuzzy controller, to change the green signal to adapt the traffic situation. The TSIS simulation using RTE has shown that the average speed has increased and the number of waiting cars has dropped.
