Abstract

Construction of city distribution base has important meaning to develop Chinese city commerce and logistics, speed the development of services, and improve the living standards of residents. Based on analyzing the significance of advanced city distribution base for development of Society and enterprise, this paper studies the organization evolution mechanism of city distribution base and the development model of city distribution base. Though corporation division and holding the organization evolution path is from general logistics department, logistics distribution centers to city distribution base. This paper points out that the development of advanced city distribution base has three stages including traditional self-building distribution system, third party distribution and common delivery, and common delivery is the ultimate goal.
