Abstract :
Based on component-oriented GIS, framework including network environment and functions of a basic traffic management system is presented in this paper. As an important component of ITS, the system enjoys the functions such as the conventional functions of the electronic maps, basic traffic information maintenance and inquiry, and data sharing with other transportation systems. The result shows that this system plays an important role in improving the efficiency and decision making level of traffic police lochus.
