A new model of talent cultivation for engineering (CDIO) is put forward, in order to make to the training mode of the talented persons for the engineering into the educating, the theory analysis about that are further discussed in essence with the pertinence for higher vocational education at present. By introducing engineering code/standard, production process and production control into the aspects of basic knowledge of engineering training, personal ability training and the ability of communication and collaboration training, so that the fostering mode is more practical, detailed and pertinence.
