Abstract :
This paper presents results detailing the effects of transmitter imperfections on the phase accuracy of the GMSK modulate carrier. The effect of bandedge group delay from high selectivity filters is included. In PCN, it will be necessary to position the mobile radio channels near to the edge of the RF front-end filter passband where the group delay distortion is particularly pronounced
