This paper presents, results from a practical study of a Direct Conversion Receiver and its sub-sections, namely power splitter, branch coupler hybrids, balanced mixers, VCOs and low-pass filters. Second and third order intermodulation product tests were carried out for the frequency conversion sub-circuits
