Abstract
CASA jointly with TeDeCe has been developing in the last years wide applications of printed antennas. This has been based on the research and development of new materials ad configurations as carbon and glass fibres, kapton, kevlar, rohacell, diclad, etc. Those materials have been evaluated electrically as well as from the thermo/structural point of view, to assure good in-orbit behaviour, taking into account special space-flight problems like outgassing, ESD, radiation, PIMP, etc
