Abstract
The authors have developed transmission line networks so that the coupling mechanisms in wires and slot apertures can be modelled without having to use a fine mesh. These networks are inserted directly into the TLM mesh at the interface between nodes. TLM has been applied to the study of field ingress into equipment housings, crosstalk problems in circuit interconnections, aircraft simulation in a variety of electromagnetic environments, automobile design, and the EMC testing of ships and military vehicles
