Numerical modeling tools can aid the process of designing for EMC. Transmission-line modelling (TLM) has been successfully applied in a number of EMC applications. The paper outlines the role of modelling in EMC; the features of TLM which suit it to the simulation of EMC problems, some illustrative examples of its application, and future trends
