Abstract
A description is given of the DECstation 5000 Model 200, a high-performance workstation based on the R3000 processor, an ECC memory system, and the TURBOchannel I/O interconnect. The workstation can be configured for a range of applications that require intensive computing, high capacity memory, and high performance I/O capabilities. Each subsystem has been designed for optimal performance in its own right and when tightly coupled with the other subsystems. The memory and I/O subsystems can be configured over a broad range to best meet the needs of a particular customer application.<>
