  • Abstract
    The techniques described have given useful information at various wavelengths for a range of polymers. The accuracy of index measurement of 5×10-4 and 1.8% for thickness allow studies of modal properties to be carried out on waveguide devices. The ability to extend measurements into the infra red is important for optical communication systems
