Abstract
Supply chain is an uncertain and stochastic complex system and the methods of supply chain management (SCM) in existence are not suited for complex environment. This paper models a demand oriented supply chain and validates the fork and chaos of the supply chain via simulation-approach, which might have an impact on it´ s operation in many ways, such as flexible production and bullwhip effect mitigation, provides a new angle for supply chain management.
